Spring Update Sep 19

Kia ora everyone,

Spring is here, and everything is starting to bloom, day light savings is underway with the prospect of longer, warmer days and though we bounce between sun and rain, people are beginning to smile more. It's a boast I have really needed...

I have to apologise to any of you, if I’ve let you down or for not providing the service you expected.

This time last year I was excited about where the business was heading and the growth we had across several industries, how quickly things can change. Being spread too thin to provide good service, has seen me head into a bit of a tailspin over the last six months. I completed a Mental Health First Aid course only to realise I was suffering a bit from anxiety, that came as a shock to me! Being in business can be tough! The structure isn’t working as it was intended and I have had to slow my head down and decide what options I had:

  • Shut-up shop and move on

  • Take a bit of time and come back fighting

Thank god for my dogs, an understanding partner and amazing friends. I’ve always been a battler, so I’m coming back fighting.

Change is in the air ….

There are a number of hard calls that have to be made, the worst was reluctantly saying goodbye to Cassandra. Her help and hard work while with Practice Safe, and her steadfast support of me, I am truly grateful for. I wish her every success in all future endeavours.

  • There will also be a number of structural changes over the next 6-12 months to make the business more adaptable to the needs of our clients, bringing the focus back to a dental & clinical base.

  • You will see more training options available, including in-practice, group and online, and

  • Internal, external and quality audit options

Staying safe in the workplace remains the same, Practice Safe will continue with its out-sourced in-house approach to work with you and your business, as part of your team.
