With over 30 years of Clinical health experience and a passion for helping others, I love the challenge of changing the culture of health, safety and well-being within organisations. With a focus on the psychosocial interactions, underpinned by my operational knowledge and experience, we can offer a range of services to improve outcomes. Resources specific to professional health, safety and wellbeing, specialising in office-based health providers, businesses and consultancy, education and wellness programmes across a broad range of organisations. Always looking to improve myself and the community around me, I am currently working on my Doctorial research at the University of Waikato and assisting in general health research and social policy. However, providing Health promotion in the community, including accredited Mental Health First Aid, presenting health and safety-focused workshops, project management, training and education across New Zealand remains our focus at Practicesafe.
2020 and the spread of COVID-19 changed the world and how many of us see ourselves in it. Natural disasters and financial pressure have followed. This created anxiety and uncertainty for many, which has affected how people cope and the demand for mental health services. At PracticeSafe, we take mental health, wellbeing, and early intervention seriously by providing workshops that improve skills to assist with mental health challenges. These workshops not only improve the workplace but also have a ripple effect across whānau, family, and personal relationships.
